What you’ll need:
- 2 medium sized red bell-peppers, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp – 1 tsp paprika (scale back if sensitive to spice)
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4th tsp garlic powder
- 1/4th tsp freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp – 1 tsp salt
What you’ll want to do:
- Heat the oil in a large pan or cast iron skillet over medium flame.
- Add the sliced bell pepper.
- Add all the spice powders except the red pepper flakes and pepper.
- The red pepper might take 15-20 minutes to start charring – be patient because this brings out the most delicious flavors!
- Finally season with the red pepper flakes and pepper.
