How do I order a cake?
All orders can be placed on my website! I offer 2-3 flavors each week which rotate, and operate on most weekends and some Fridays. All dates are listed on my website and you can choose to order based on date or flavor. Orders must be placed before the Wednesday prior to the weekend of pickup.
Once you submit your order, I will start an email thread and request a Venmo or Paypal payment. The payment must be completed by the Tuesday before pickup (for weekend orders) and 3 days before any weekday orders. Since I bake to order, I do not accept cancellations once the payment has been made).
Submitting an order does not guarantee fulfillment as I am a one-person home bakery with limited capacity. I will do my best to accept your order, and will reach out as soon as I can if Iām unable to fulfill it. Thank you for understanding! š
How do I pick up my cake?
I will send you a text message the day before pickup with pickup instructions and the exact address. If you require the address at an earlier stage after payment and confirmation, please email me.
Pickup is from San Mateo and strictly only on Saturday/Sunday, 9am-11am (except for the limited weekday schedule I have listed). Dates that are not available are blocked out during checkout.
How should I eat my cake?
Food is also about how you eat it! Please read through cake care for details on transporting, consuming and storing the cake.
What about allergies?
All my cakes are vegan and contain no dairy or egg products. However, all my cakes do contain nuts (almond milk, almond flour and many contain pistachios). I work out of a home kitchen where cross contamination is very likely. I also work with limited equipment so equipment is shared between flavors and cakes. In short, if you have a strong allergy to any nut, there might be a significant risk here. If you have a strong allergy to dairy or egg, cross contamination is less likely as none of these products are used in my cakes (we do store them in our kitchen, though your baker is strictly vegan :)).
Do you do wedding cakes?
At the moment I do not commit to weddings nor do I do custom cake designs, but always happy to recommend vegan bakers who can!
Do you cater for larger events?
I am accepting these on a case by case basis, please email me if you’d like to chat!
Do you bake anything other than just cakes?
Yes! The best way to try my vegan pastry items/smaller cake slices is to find me at a pop-up. I try doing one pop-up a month at different locations around the Bay Area. I also hope to offer these more regularly as I work on expansion.
