All my cakes should be eaten at room temperature. This is extremely important, as there’s a vast (and I mean vast) difference in taste when it’s pulled right out of the fridge!
While transporting, we recommend placing the cake box on the floor of the passenger seat with the air conditioning on. If you’re traveling for over 30 minutes, we recommend bringing a small cooler box or a cardboard box, as our coconut cream is sensitive and can melt in heat/sunlight.
Storage instructions for cakes with coconut cream icing:
- If you are consuming on the same day as pickup, you can leave it out. It should be stored in a cool place away from any direct heat and sunlight.
- If you are consuming the next day, we recommend refrigerating. However, please bring it out at least 3 hours before consuming it so that it comes back to room temperature. It can be stored in the fridge for about 2 days but tastes best on the day of pickup.
Storage instructions for cakes with vegan buttercream icing (our chocolate cake):
- Does not need any refrigeration. Stays good at room temperature for up to 4 days. For the chocolate cake we highly recommend warming up by the slice for about ten seconds or so for the yummiest experience 😀
